I first rode this route in September 2019 and it has something for everyone. With its fast-flowing A roads, windy B roads, tight nadgery unclassified roads and historic towns it really doesn’t matter what you ride or how you ride it, this route will put a huge smile on your face. It takes in a large part of the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and finishes off with the famous Charlbury TT route, a must for anyone visiting the area. With plenty of options for food and cafes throughout the route, as well as a stop at the Cotswold Motoring museum, you can make a full day’s leisurely ride or, if you prefer to just ride, there’s about three and a half hours of road riding. Watch out for the Fish Hill section between route points 18 and 19. The corners are particularly challenging in the wet.
