Kingston upon Hull ferry port to Colchester (1/2)
Part 1 of a 2 part route to the channel Tunnel, part 2 starts from Colchester and is titled 'Colchester to Folkestone Channel Tunnel'. This route uses the Humber toll bridge to start. Motorcycles are toll free and cars pay £1.50 (2021). Then it avoids major roads and travels via the countryside, the Royal Estate at Sandringham and historic coastal towns to an hotel in the Dutch Quarter of Colchester.
